Abstract

The paper highlight the relevance of slave history museum calabar and national war museum Umuahia in the preservation of Nigeria cultural heritage and nation building. It presents the meaning of museums, advent of museum in Nigeria, importance of museum in nation building and preservation of Nigeria cultural heritage. since museum is an essential component of preserving history, educational and research center.
